I had a lovely three-night stay with a fantastic breakfast that was just perfect! The welcome chocolate on arrival made a great first impression. The shower was nice and hot, too.

Nightmare stay with zero windows
This place was a total letdown! My husband got stuck in a tiny room with no windows. Really? ! The staff didn’t seem to care, and we never heard back from them about the extra charges. Breakfast was decent, but c’mon, a room without sunlight? Pass on this one!

Highly recommend it for solo travelers
The staff were unbelievably kind, went out of their way to make me feel at home. One morning, I needed to leave before breakfast started, and they prepped a nice little bag with fruits and a muffin just for me—really touched me.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what? You get what you pay for.

Nice historical building with cozy rooms. Breakfast options could use more variety, no full English available. Good access for cycling around the city. Clean facilities, but no lift means climbing stairs to upper floors.

missingWrote a review on May 26included breakfasttypical sicilian productsstale croissantpoor plug socket placementlack of window
Booked this place expecting a full breakfast but was disappointed with a stale croissant, a slice of toast, and a cold boiled egg. Room 14 felt less like a bedroom and more like a converted bathroom—no window and poor plug socket placement made it inconvenient. Carrying luggage up the stairs was another downside, making the experience quite frustrating.
